The Light That Floods- The Remission Flow

October 15th came and my excitement to finally hear the tracks produced for this album set in. 'Walls' and 'The Father's Love' were released as singles before the official album release but also appear on The Light That Floods. The link to iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/the-light-that-floods/id561280597
After listening to each song a few times, the lyrics became more prominent and with each listen I was learning the words and thinking about each songs meaning.
The passion and energy that was put into each song is visible in every lyric sung, voice projected and instrument played. The music produced by this new growing Christian band is immense. The next Rend Collective? I think so : )
Every song of this album is beautiful and different but there are a few that God has spoken to me through these guy's words and talents. In the song 'All Creation' there are some lyrics that really stood out to me, 'You got a heart that desires to set us free, You've got life, You've got hope and my dreams in Your heart.' This reminded me that God knows us better than anyone else on this Earth, He loves us and wants the best for His son or daughter's. God knows our next thought and what we'll be doing in 10 years, God knows our hopes and ambitions and our strengths and where we lack confidence. As the song says, He sent his son to die on a tree for us. What a wonderful happy reminder that this song gave me :)
"All creation cries to You."

Psalm 121 is track 9 of 11 on the album and is such a magnificent worship song. It translates Psalm 121 from the Bible into beautiful tune and vocals. It's an up beat tune that brings a smile to my face because it reminds me that "The Lord is my keeper, He's my shelter from the storm"

I think another of my favourites from The Light That Floods would be 'Holy'. It starts with soft piano and guitar playing and then vocals are introduced with the words, "Holy is our God almighty, worthy is out God, you're holy..."

Another which has always been a favourite from you guys is 'My Saviour Lives' every time I hear it I can't help but sing or hum along, it's a song that get's to me emotionally. "No I'll never be the same again, no I'll never be the same again, my King He died for me and He rose again."

There is so much to be said about the depth, strength and passion in each song on this album. Every member of The Remission Flow contributes to the making of every song on this awesome album.

I'm going to give this album 10/10.

Wonderful work guys!

God Bless
